Congratulations to Runners Bergamo !

Dear friends,

The IAU 24H World Challenge (including the 24H European Championship) in Bergamo, Italy has been the opener of our annual string of Major IAU Competitions. 28 countries sent delegations and athletes to this competition, which is a new record in the history of the IAU 24H World Challenge.

Runners Bergamo really did a wonderful job to put in place a world class organisation. As IAU we are very happy that our athletes were presented with the organisational quality we envision for all our major competitions.

Hence our sincerest congratulations to Runners Bergamo !

If Bergamo has been setting the trend for this year, then we are looking forward to a very exciting season of ultra distance running !
